Where to Find Me in 2026: Book Fairs & Fantasy Balls
2026 is turning out to be a wonderfully bookish year!
From book fairs filled with readers and authors to an actual fantasy ball in the Hunter Valley, I have a few opportunities this year to step away from the writing desk, pack up my books and venture out into the real world.
So, if you'd like to meet me, chat about The Stone of Four Fires, pick up a signed book or simply say hello, here’s where you can find me in 2026.
Book Fair Australia Melbourne

I kicked off my 2026 events in February with Book Fair Australia’s first Melbourne event. It was a brilliant way to begin the year and, thankfully, Melbourne was only the beginning.
Beyond This World Ball – Hunter Valley
18 October 2026 | Rydges Resort Hunter Valley, Lovedale
Next up, we're leaving ordinary book fairs behind and heading somewhere considerably more magical.
In October, I’ll be attending Beyond This World Ball, a fantasy and romantasy event taking over Rydges Resort Hunter Valley for an evening dedicated to the worlds we usually only get to visit between the pages of a book.
Think gowns, fantasy-inspired outfits, music, food, dancing and an entire room full of people who understand that fictional worlds are sometimes much more interesting than the real one.
There will also be a section for authors and bookish businesses attending, and I’ll have my own author table with copies of The Last Regret and The Last Remorse from The Stone of Four Fires series as well as a bunch more book related goodies!

Book Fair Australia Sydney
7–8 November 2026 | Sydney Showground
Then, just a few weeks later, I'll be back with Book Fair Australia, this time much closer to home!
Book Fair Australia Sydney returns to Sydney Showground for a full weekend of books, authors, panels, workshops, cosplay and all things literary.
I'll be there across the weekend with my books, so if you've been meaning to pick up a copy of The Last Regret or The Last Remorse, want your existing copies signed, or just want to have a chat about the series, writing, fantasy worlds or books in general, come say hello.
I’ll also be selling my usual merchandise of book earrings, book necklaces, artwork and bookmarks!
As well as introducing the first in a series of children’s books in collaboration with Melrosa Le (illustrator)!!

Time: 10:00am–5:00pm
And yes, I fully expect my TBR to somehow become larger despite attending as an author rather than a reader.
Three Events, One Very Bookish Year
Melbourne started the year, the Hunter Valley will bring a little magic to October, and Sydney will finish off my 2026 event calendar in November.
One of the strangest and loveliest parts of being an author is that stories begin as something incredibly solitary (usually just me and a computer) before eventually becoming something I get to share with actual people.
Events like these are a chance to do exactly that.
