Giveaway Terms
& Conditions

1. Promoter

This giveaway is conducted by Marie Gin / MaGin Books, Australia (“the Promoter”).

2. Giveaway Period

The giveaway opens at 12:00am AEST on 26 September 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEDT on 16 October 2026.

All dates and times relating to the giveaway are based on Sydney, Australia time. Entries received after the closing time will not be accepted.

3. Eligibility

Entry is open to individuals aged 18 years or over who are legal residents of an eligible country listed below.

Eligible locations are:

• Australia
• United States of America
• Canada
• United Kingdom
• The following European countries: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.

Entrants must be legally permitted to participate in the giveaway in their jurisdiction of residence.

Employees, contractors and immediate family members of the Promoter are not eligible to enter.

The giveaway is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

4. How to Enter

No purchase is necessary. Entry is free.

Entrants must enter through the official giveaway form available on the Marie Gin website during the Giveaway Period.

One initial entry is available through the giveaway form. Entrants may be offered additional optional entry methods, including social media, YouTube, Goodreads or other promotional actions displayed within the giveaway form.

The number of entries awarded for each action will be displayed in the giveaway form.

Completing a purchase does not provide additional entries or improve an entrant's chances of winning.

Entries generated using automated methods, bots, false identities, duplicate accounts, fraudulent information or other attempts to manipulate the promotion may be disqualified.

5. Prize

There is one prize and one winner.

The winner will receive a The Stone of Four Fires collector's prize pack containing books, character artwork, metal bookmarks, book-themed accessories, character collectibles and other promotional merchandise.

The total approximate retail value of the prize is AU$155.

The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. If an individual component becomes unavailable for reasons outside the Promoter's reasonable control, it may be replaced with an item of similar nature and value where permitted by applicable law.

6. Winner Selection

One provisional winner will be selected at random from all valid eligible entries after the Giveaway Period closes.

The random draw will take place on 17 October 2026 using the giveaway platform's random winner-selection process.

Each valid entry constitutes an entry in the draw. Entrants who legitimately complete optional bonus-entry actions may therefore hold multiple entries in accordance with the values displayed within the giveaway form.

The Promoter may verify the provisional winner's eligibility and entries before confirming the prize.

The odds of winning depend on the total number of valid entries received.

7. Canadian Entrants

If the provisionally selected winner is a resident of Canada, they may be required, without assistance, to correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question before being confirmed as the winner, where required by applicable Canadian law.

If the selected Canadian entrant does not correctly answer any required skill-testing question, another eligible entry may be selected at random.

8. Winner Notification & Announcement

The provisional winner will be contacted directly using the contact information supplied when entering.

Subject to verification, the winner will be publicly announced on 18 October 2026 in connection with Beyond This World Fantasy Ball in the Hunter Valley, Australia, and/or through the Promoter's website and social media channels.

Attendance at Beyond This World Fantasy Ball is not required to enter, win or claim the prize.

9. Claiming the Prize

The winner must respond to the Promoter within 14 days of being contacted and provide the information reasonably necessary to confirm eligibility and arrange delivery.

If the provisional winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within the required period, is found to be ineligible, fails any legally required verification requirement, or otherwise cannot accept the prize, another winner may be randomly selected from the remaining eligible entries, subject to applicable law.

10. Delivery

The Promoter will cover standard delivery of the prize to one valid postal address in the winner's eligible country of residence.

The winner will not be charged by the Promoter for standard shipping.

The winner is responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information.

International delivery times may vary and may be affected by customs processing or other circumstances outside the Promoter's control.

11. Taxes, Customs & Import Requirements

International prizes may be subject to local customs procedures, import requirements, taxes or duties depending on the winner's country of residence.

Where legally applicable, the winner is responsible for complying with local import requirements and for any taxes or duties imposed by their jurisdiction that are not included in the Promoter's standard shipping charge.

12. Privacy

Personal information collected in connection with the giveaway will be used for purposes reasonably necessary to administer the promotion, including processing entries, verifying eligibility, selecting and contacting the winner and delivering the prize.

Information will not be added to the Promoter's marketing mailing list merely because an individual enters the giveaway. Marketing communications will only be sent where the entrant has separately consented or where otherwise permitted by applicable law.

Entry information may also be processed by third-party service providers used to administer the giveaway, including the giveaway platform, subject to their applicable privacy practices.

13. Publicity

Where permitted by applicable law, the Promoter may publish or make available limited information identifying the winner for the purpose of demonstrating that the prize was awarded.

No entrant is required to provide additional promotional content or participate in advertising as a condition of entry unless separately agreed.

14. Social Media & Third-Party Platforms

This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram, Facebook, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Goodreads or any other social media or third-party platform used to promote or facilitate the giveaway.

Entrants acknowledge that information supplied in connection with this giveaway is being provided to the Promoter and/or the giveaway platform rather than to those social media platforms, except where an entry action necessarily interacts with a particular platform.

15. General

The Promoter reserves the right to verify entries and entrant eligibility and to disqualify entries that do not comply with these Terms & Conditions.

The Promoter may take reasonable steps to protect the integrity and fair operation of the giveaway, including removing fraudulent or manipulated entries.

If circumstances outside the Promoter's reasonable control prevent the giveaway from operating as intended, the Promoter may take reasonable action permitted by applicable law. These Terms & Conditions will not be varied in a way that unfairly disadvantages entrants after the giveaway has begun.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any statutory consumer right or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
